2. Scope
This policy covers this pre-launch waitlist page at https://ella-e.ai, where you can sign up for a one-time notification when Ella-E launches. There is no registration, no user account and no use of the AI service on this page.
3. Data We Process
When you sign up we process only: • your email address • the language you chose (de, en, fr) • the time of your signup and your confirmation • a salted, non-reversible hash of your IP address (abuse prevention) • your browser identifier (user-agent) We collect no name, no address and no payment data.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis
The sole purpose is to notify you once, when Ella-E becomes available. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We confirm your signup via double opt-in (confirmation link by email). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
5. Encrypted Storage
Your email address is stored encrypted. The key is kept separately from the database, so the addresses remain unreadable even if the database file is exposed. To detect duplicate signups we use an encrypted index value, not the plaintext address.
6. No Disclosure, No AI Processing
The waitlist data is not transmitted to AI providers (such as Anthropic) and is not used for any other purpose. No AI processing takes place on this page. Disclosure to third parties happens only where technically necessary to send the notification.
7. Hosting
This website runs with a web hosting provider that processes the data solely on our behalf and on our instructions (data processing under Art. 28 GDPR).
8. Cookies and Tracking
This page sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services.
9. Retention Period
We store your data until the launch of Ella-E and a short transition period thereafter, at most until you withdraw. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as to withdraw your consent. To exercise these, an email to contact@ella-e.ai is sufficient.
11. Right to Complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (AKI), www.aki.ee.
